Tournament – Terms and Conditions

 The Tournament and its Organizer(s) named on the front of the booking sheet agree to the following Terms and Conditions of Victoria Park East (or, the Club):

 Alcohol Policy – Victoria Park East is fully licensed with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (formerly the LLBO).  Provincial Law prohibits consumption of any alcohol other than alcohol that is purchased from our outlets.  We have a beverage cart and a “Halfway Hut” for beverage purchases on the Course.  Absolutely no coolers or personal alcohol will be allowed on the golf course or in the parking lot.  Staff and Rangers have the right to search golf bags and confiscate alcohol not purchased from us.

 Dress Code – Golfers must be properly attired at all times: Shirts with collars and sleeves are preferred. Mesh shirts, muscle shirts, any attire with offensive writing or graphics is not permitted.  For ladies, halter tops and tube tops are inappropriate.  Walking-style or cuffed/hemmed shorts of a respectable length are acceptable; no gym shorts or cut-offs.  Only soft-spiked golf shoes or flat athletic shoes are permitted.

 Tournament Policies:

1)      It is the responsibility of the Tournament Organizer to inform all participants of the above Dress Code and Alcohol Policy .

2)      A $500.00 deposit is required to secure your tournament date.  This deposit will be deducted from your total invoice; however, it is non-refundable if the tournament is cancelled less than 9 months prior to the booked date.

3)      The Tournament Organizer or their agents are responsible for collecting fees from their players or guests.

4)       The Tournament is responsible for the behaviour and actions of its players and guests.  The Club reserves the right to eject any player or guest for behaviour that is deemed offensive, or performing any act that may endanger the well-being of other guests or staff, or willfully causing damage to the golf course, its buildings or the surrounding property.

5)      Powercart damage , accidental or otherwise, is the responsibility of the Tournament.

6)      All food and beverage must be purchased through Victoria Park East.  Any tournament that requires foods or beverages from an alternative supplier must notify the Club with all details at least 2 weeks prior to the event.

7)      Rain or Weather Conditions – the Tournament will be played as booked rain or shine, unless the Superintendent deems the Course to be unplayable or lightening is a factor, and at that time Club Management and Tournament Organizers will agree on a rain check procedure

8)      The Club is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

 Victoria Park East Golf Club will make every effort to ensure the success of your Tournament.  The above terms and conditions are not final and limited; circumstances may arise with certain tournaments that may necessitate additional terms and conditions.  The customer will be notified in advance of any changes that affect the booking policy or Tournament details.
